“I am a mother to 3 children, 3 dogs, 1 cat, 1 tortoise, 3 tenrecs and tropical fish! I used to run my own self funded wild hedgehog rescue up until last year and I love live music and can just get by playing the guitar if I sing loud enough over it!”
If you see Judy about, say hi 👋🏼 and if you happen to have a guitar spare…. Watch out because you’ll be tempted into a jam session in no time 🎸

Paula Lightowler
Occupational Health Nurse
I have a background in nursing spanning many years. My career began in a clinical setting, where I worked in surgical wards, operating theatres, and provided pre and post-operative care. Transitioning to community nursing as a district nurse, I eventually moved into a role at a local care assessment service. Later, I became a lead nurse, offering end-of-life care to many individuals, which was incredibly fulfilling. My journey led me to work as an Occupational Health Nurse for a local chemical company, where I began working with Occupational Health Teams (OHTs) and found my true calling. The team I work with is exceptional, providing mutual support. Linda, the business owner, not only excels as a nurse but also as a remarkable leader. I consider myself fortunate to have her guidance and support.
Occupational health is a diverse and fascinating field. While it can present challenges, the rewards are immense. My dedication to promoting workplace health, fostering inclusivity, and supporting both individual well-being and business infrastructure drives my passion for this work.
Be sure to say hi 👋🏼 to Paula, and if you love dogs you can guarantee some good chat!

Lisa Clift
Occupational Health Nurse.
With over 20 years of experience as a hospital nurse, I joined the Occupational Health & Training Services team at the start of 2025. Since making the transition, I’ve discovered a genuine passion for occupational health nursing—a field that allows me to combine my clinical expertise with a proactive approach to promoting health and wellbeing in the workplace.
Outside of work, I’m a proud mum to two teenage girls, happily married, and very much a family-oriented person. Our home is full of energy—not just from the people, but also from our beloved pets: a dog, two guinea pigs, and a hamster, making life wonderfully busy and very interesting, there is never a dull moment!
In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering at my local church and can always be found with a good cup of coffee in hand to keep me going through the day.
